Meadow Walker took her fans by surprise when she shared a new photograph of herself in a hospital for a life-changing procedure.

The model revealed that she was there to get lasik eye surgery, and the picture captured her appearance right before the procedure.

She was dressed in an oversized sweater with a sports tee and sweatpants, wearing a face mask and a hairnet while on the chair before prepping for surgery.
The photograph had been taken quite a while ago, though, as she wrote: "On the 25th of August I got Lasik. Here's a photo."

Many fans took to sending their support and best wishes to the daughter of late Fast and Furious star Paul Walker as one commented: "Get well soon beautiful lady."
Another wrote: "I would love to get this done. I hope it's working out well!!" while a third added: "Sending you love [and] good recovery vibes... And take care of yourself."

Meadow did recently have a lot to celebrate, though, as she marked her first wedding anniversary with husband Louis Thornton-Allan.
She posted a snap of the couple embracing at an equestrian facility, writing: "Happy anniversary my love! One year married to you."

The rising model was walked down the aisle by her father's close friend and co-star Vin Diesel, who is also her godfather and has supported the family.
Paul tragically passed away at the age of 40 after being involved in a car accident in November 2013 in Santa Clarita, California. His father Paul Walker III previously opened up about his son's relationship with Meadow.

He told magazine in 2015: "He was proud of Meadow," Paul said. "Every day of her life."
He added: "She's a stunning girl… very graceful. When you watch Meadow, it's not like she walks, she glides. Her mother [Paul's ex-girlfriend Rebecca Soteros] is that way, and Paul was, too."
